Air-Spading
Air-spading uses high-pressure air to safely decompress compacted soil and expose a tree’s natural root flare—a critical step in keeping trees healthy. During this process, we also remove girdling roots that may be encircling and constricting the tree.
Nearly 80% of trees are buried too deep, causing the root flare to sit below grade. The root flare is the point where the tree stops absorbing water and nutrients and begins transporting them upward. When it’s buried, the tree becomes “confused,” leading to unnecessary stress on top of existing pressures like drought and insects.
Air-spading restores proper root function and helps your tree recover, grow, and thrive.
